ThursdThursday, February 5, 2026, The Algiers Economic Development Foundation had our ‘25-26 Annual Meeting & Breakfast.

About 200 guests attended, including Senator Gary Carter, Deputy Mayor Dr. Jenny Mains, Councilmember Freddie King, Representative of Try Carter’s Office, Demetric Mercadel, Councilman at Large Member, Matt Willard, Judge Juana Lombard, Judge Richard Perque and Constable Edwin Shorty.

2026 Annual Meeting & Breakfast Panelists

Lessons from Both Sides: “How Relationships Turn into Revenue” was the discussion topic. Moderated by AEDF Event Chair, Paul Richard, the panel was stacked with New Orleans based industry leaders and business owners.
