Join us for Algiers Clean Sweep hosted by New Orleans City Councilmember Kristin Gisleson Palmer and the Algiers Economic Development Foundation. Algiers Clean Sweep is a community-wide day of service. Come drop off your trash, sign up as an event volunteer, or spearhead a neighborhood clean up krewe!

What are We Cleaning? 

Algiers residents can drop off specialty trash items including:

  • Glass Recycling
  • Tires
  • Bulky & Large Items

Ways to Get Involved

  • Volunteer at the Registration Table
  • Volunteer at the Clean Sweep Headquarters
  • Start a Neighborhood Clean Up Team
  • Join someone else’s Clean Up team
  • Spearhead a Corporate Clean Up team with your colleagues
