Algiers Bonfire and Concert
A community tradition and holiday staple, AEDF partners with city and business partners to host the annual Algiers Holiday Bonfire & Festival, which draws more than 4,000 celebrants to the Algiers Riverfront annually.
Wednesdays on The Point
The Wednesdays on the Point riverfront concert series is a summer highlight in Algiers and New Orleans. The series launched in 2008 as an innovative way to draw visitors to Algiers during the summer months. Today, Wednesdays on the Point draws more than 1,000 individuals to the Algiers riverfront weekly during the summer series and successfully drives business, tourist and cultural activities during throughout the duration of the event. In 2011, AEDF added a special 4th July concert to the Wednesdays on the Point series.
